Poured from a howler filled at the brewery into a 16 ounce tulip glass.
Look- Deep amber brown, hazy, no visible particulate, light brown sudsy head, average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Rye, biscuit, weak strength of bouquet.
Taste- Rye, sweet biscuit, medium strength of flavor.
Feel- Between thin and medium body, average carbonation, high bitterness, moderately creamy, mildly astringent.
Overall- Look was a bit more amber than expected for an IPA. Flavor and bouquet were simple, but pleasant. Feel was thinner than expected with some mild astringency that detracted from the overall experience.
