A 16 ounce draft pour into a shaker pint at Wildland Coop.
Look- Pale gold, very slightly hazy, white frothy head, above average head retention, average lacing.
Smell- Mildly dank, slight melon, slight clementine, pithy, weak strength of scent.
Taste- Herbaceous, pithy, slight clementine, slight melon, between weak and medium strength of flavor.
Feel- Medium body, highly bitter, highly creamy, mildly prickly, mildly dry finish.
Overall- This beer just didn’t have enough of the dank and prickly fresh hop character that I expect from a fresh hop beer. I look forward to continuing to explore the offerings of this brewery.
