16oz can picked up at Big Head's in Missoula, MT; first experience with Shred Monk
Poured into a Ben's Bottle Shop nonic pint
P deep chestnut with just about a 1f white head; quick recession
N soft at first, but gets bolder as warms; sweet aroma of toasted malts and candied notes; pleasant
T semi-sweet toasted malt and earthiness throughout with some candied sweetness in there too; tasty; has an element of uniqueness
Mf med to med-full bodied; med carb level
O a pleasant marzen with good drinkability; not a bad first impression of the brewery; would have this again
