Copenhagen 18/2 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Deeper Root's usual ultra detailed can design with what looks like a peaceful if colorful stone landscape.
Pours unclear golde yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as 0,4 cm thick, fluffy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with a sharp crisp and bit citric scent. Sweet pale malts, lemongrass and freshly mown grass. Dry vibe.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and crisp. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
Decent, crisp Kölsch-style brew.

Pours a hazy orange with fine, soapy head.
Smell is fruity, bready and slightly tart. Notes of citrus, wheat dough, orange peel and some herbal and spicy hints.
Taste is malty and bready with some fruity hints. Notes of toast, wheat dough, citrus, rye with some floral and spicy hints. Moderate bitterness, very drinkable.
Mouthfeel is medium, a bit creamy and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice, well made and quaffable Kölsch.
