Nitro draft at the brew pub in Ashland
Rich creamy thick tan nitro head that never fades, good lacing, very dark almost black with hints if mahogany light
Nose starts with typical nitro smell, creamy, then mild roasted malt, a little dark chocolate, earthy spices with a hint of anise, sweet fudge and cocoa
Taste more rich malts, sweet fudgey milk chocolate, mild roast, creme Brule but not super sweet, lactose I think, fair bitterness as much from malts, a mild stale malt flavor, semi sweet finish, some nitro creamy
Mouth is med bod, very creamy, typical nitro bubbles
Overall OK, more like a sweet stout or milk stout than Baltic porter, not overpowered by the nitro although too creamy
