Nitro pour at the ashland pub
Creamy thick nitro head tan color, good retention and lacing, dark almost black color
Nose brings chocolate, cocoa, cookie dough, biscuit, toasted notes and a little nutty with baking spices, light toasted oak, oatmeal cookie
Taste lots of toasted oak, quite oaky but not over powering, more toasted malts, biscuit, chocolate oatmeal, cocoa and dark chocolate chip cookie, mild roasted coffee, little nutty, some baking spices, rich creamy nitro, a bit of bitterness mostly from roast, a little whiskey note, finish dries a bit with more oak
Mouth is med bod, creamy nitro
Overall mixed, good base oatmeal stout but oak gets a bit overpowering, maybe dial down the oak a bit for future
