Let me just quickly say first that this is beautifully bottle conditioned.
Quite a light reddish brown clear body with a just off white head that has shrunk back to about 60% coverage of tiny but tightly packed bubbles
Quite a nice if understated aroma of candied peel all barley sugar.
I real good blend of American Amber hoppy first flavour with tart citrusy fruit but stays out of over powering grapefruit flavour that seems to steamroll over all UK brews inspired by US craft beer.
This is quickly overtaken by yeasty spiky bitterness
Great easy drinking beer in the MF with noticeable but not overbearing carbonation
A good solid enjoyable session beer, great to start drinking on
just not hugely complex.
