I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery in Budapest. The menu specifically called this a "West Coast IPA".
Appearance: medium golden hue with a moderate haze and a finger of ivory foam, which leaves a very nice lace as it dissipates.
Smell: malty, earthy, citrusy; even a little juicy. Good.
Taste: toasty malt with a nicely piney and citrusy hop character. There's quite a snap of bitterness at the end — really good.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: really a solid WCIPA. I'm digging it. Probably the best execution of a non-hazy IPA I have had in Hungary.
