Green Tea Infused Milkshake Pale Ale

I had this beer on tap in a pub glass at the brewery in Budapest.

Appearance: pale orange-gold hue with a light haze and a thick head of ivory foam.

Smell: slightly sweet with a bitter orange peel character. It’s decent enough.

Taste: to be honest. the orange peel drowns out the green tea. It’s not as orangey as their Agent Orange, but it is pretty bitter and rindey. Not actually bad, but could be subtler with the orange.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and actually a pretty good creaminess.

Overall: for a bitter orange peel pale ale, it works, if you know that going into it. I don’t really get much from the lactose. Not a bad beer, but you gotta be in the mood for it.
