Got this from Topper's Pizza. Definitely their hoppiest house beer.
Aromas of pine, grapefruit, tangerine and mango. Very dank, very citrusy.
However, I'm getting very little bitterness on the palate. Still get notes of tangerine and mango and a little grapefruit and pine on the finish, but it is very smooth.
Reminds me of some of the paperback IPAs in smoothness. Unfortunately, it doesn't have much of a bite. Medium-full body. Not quite as crisp and dry as I like my WCIPAs.
A solid example of the style, however, it fails to stand out in any way, falling into a stereotypical expression of the Southern California IPA style. It's very drinkable, but a bit basic. C+
