Comes in a standard brown half-liter bottle with a dark label featuring a sailing ship plying the waters of the Volga river. "Volzhanin" means "of the Volga". I can't figure out what "Akhtuba" means, and none of my native Russian speaking friends is sure either. Rice is listed as an ingredient. Best before 1/19/04, I opened it on 12/11/03.

The aftertaste is a touch tinny, with a trace of rice lurking in the background. I expected worse...
