This was a slightly hazed golden color, it came with a small, fizzy head.
I smelled flowery rather than pungent hop notes of grass and light citrus, maybe a little mango and pineapple as well. Malty notes of faint grain and caramel.
The taste follows the smell, with the surprising addition of a fairly substantial lingering bitterness. Still, the hop flavors were layered and delicate to a greater extent than I find with most "session" IPAs. Good stuff for sure.
