On nitro tap at Dogfish Head Brewings and Eats.
This one pours a moderately dark brown color, with a foamy head, and a good amount of foamy webby lacing.
Smells like chocolate, raisin, and lactose.
I think this would've been better if it wasn't on nitro, honestly. But this is how I feel about most beers on nitro. The raisin flavors are pretty subdued, but still there, with some chocolate and caramel, and creamy lactose. The nitro just seems to have flattened it. Why does anybody pour beer on nitro! IT RUINS THE BEER
This is creamy and rich, with the typical nitro mouthfeel, the only good aspect of this delivery system.
This felt like it would have been way better if it was just poured on regular CO2.
