10oz tulip, sample at the brewpub.
Brilliant copper hue, good lacing on this pour. Spice and phenols with a floral alcohol in the nose. Lots of well places spicing going on here, Belgian character is full on in a clean way. Very drinkable even for its size, spicing is so well done I keep on going back for another sip. Great job!

Look- I really liked the color, as it poured a golden color with a lovely orange hue. However, not much of a head and zero lace, which goes against the style.
Smell- mostly clean at first, slightly metallic, and hard to detect. However, later I got some banana and sweet honey or caramel.
Taste- right on for the style. Fruity with lots of peppery spices. Yeasty, mild phenols, and a subdued alcohol. A semi dry biscuity finish. Very tasty.
Feel- medium to light in feel. Soft but crisp carbonation. The alcohol produced a warming effect.
Overall- I love trippels and I live DFH. They did a good job with the style. Not perfect but enjoyable nevertheless.
