Poured from a crowler (32 oz. can freshly poured & sealed at the brewpub) ok into a tulip glass.
A friend picked this up for me last week (it's good to have a buddy who cares). While I was a little concerned about cracking it open, it really wasn't too much of a chore to have to finish the entire myself.
It poured a really nice brown, thick and rich looking. A wonderful, chocolatey nose wafted from the top PDF the glass. The mouth feel was slightly chalky, not in an unpleasant way, just a little graininess that was noticeable. The flavor was a blend of porter with a really high quality cocoa - slightly sweet and nicely malty. Overall I'm really glad my friend grabbed this for me and wish he had another trip to Delaware planned.
