Black-waxed 500ML bottle with '22 in silver marker written on the dark glass. Bought aged from a reputable dealer, so I'm going to assume this is a true rep of the beer.
The pour is pure slurry, run-off from a copper mine, orange-hued. Fastest death of a tiny head I've every witnessed. The nose is all sweet, sweet bourbon with none of the edges booziness.
Olde School - Barrel Aged is far simpler than I imagined it would be. Big sweetness (the dates?) curls into a low, growling booziness, with a soft finish of bourbon/whiskey that runs for miles. Weirdly, the figs peek out at the end. Heavy. Should definitely come in smaller packages to prevent hangovers/crashes.
Not the banger upgrade from the 67 of the base beer, but still very nice.
