A Weizenbock brewed as a collaboration between our brewpub brewer Mike Gerhart and our Milton microbrewery brewer Jesse Prall. This beer is named after Jesse's dog.
The guys brewed Beanie Bock with German dark wheat malt, pilsner malt, Munich malt and crystal malt. It is a very malty, full bodied bock beer with a spicy note flavor due to the wheat malt used.
15 IBU

Somewhat hazy, chocolate brown color. Small, tight cocoa colored head. Average aroma-some slight weizen notes. Nice, creamy flavor. Good malty flavor with a nice crispness from the wheat. Good mouthfeel. Very drinkable beer. I wasnt impressed at first but halfway down the glass the creamy flavor along with a slight sweetness made it quite enjoyable. I quickly ordered a second. Listed as a dual effort between the brewers at the main brewery and brew pub.
