Pours a dark reddish brown with some off white lacing on the surface. The smell sour cherries and yeasty esters and hard to place spice. Taste is similar- cherries, lightly sour (this beer got a second fermatation with some wild yeasts which makes is sour). There are other notes that are a little hard to place without a description of the beer from the brewer, which luckily I have. I'm detecting coriander and the cascara (coffee cherries) now that I know about them. The most notable thing about this beer is maybe its very dry finish. Very drinkable and you'd never expect its high abv.
