Opaque bright gold with nice lacing on the surface. This was aged in Honey Rum barrels and it's evident in the nose. This is a great tasting tripel with plenty of spicy complexity. Butterscotch. Boozey and warm. Nice fullbodied mouthfeel with light carbonation. Pretty drinkable for the style. Really great, especially for an american version of the style, and competitive with the Belgians.
