Pours a clear straw yellow color, minimal head. Funky and citrus aroma. Very funky. Flavor is extremely funky. Very tart and acidic. Shared a 500 ml bottle with 3 of us, couldn’t finish it…

Pours a cloudy golden color with visible and very fizzy looking carbonation. A moderate foam quickly dissipates.

Delightfully funky nose evokes notes of tart fruit, oaky and vinous notes and hint at the sourness to come. Aromas of dry, cider, white wine vinegar, white grape, green apples, grapefruit, orange, kiwi and lime. Aromas of wheat, sourdough bread, white pepper and coriander.

As with the aroma, the taste brings forth, funky, earthy, and complex flavors that reflect oaky notes from the barrel and a strong mouth puckering acidity. Very vinous with notes of green and white grapes, white wine, wood and vinegar. Tart and fruity with notes of green apples, kiwi, white grapefruit, lemon, lime and peach. A malt base evokes dry cracker, sourdough and wheat, paired with spicy notes of white pepper, coriander and grass.

Medium bodied with a very acidic mouthfeel and very dry finish. The carbonation is lively.

This was fantastic! Refreshingly tart and sour with delicious fruity flavors and earthy oaky spices. I would definitely have again!

375 ml bottle poured into a snifter

A- A fairly clear golden copper with a small white head.

S- Sour, light fruits, oak, touch of grains, mild brett funk, some white wine.

T- Sour, lemons, light fruits, hints of pears, oak, some white wine, earthy brett funk.

M- Smooth, light body.

O- A nice wild ale, very sour. Kind of reminds me of Festina Lente without the fruit.
