A witbier bursting with good karma. Made with dried organic orange slices, fresh-cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander, this Belgian-style white beer is a great thirst quencher.

Pale almost ashy yellow, like they turned the saturation down on the colour wheel. Kind of the colour of a white wine... Barely even anything of watery/bubbly white head. I’m not getting much on the aroma either: almost smells like a grape must, though maybe just because now I have white wine on the mind. I suppose it’s probably the subtle lemongrass that I’m picking up with some of the body of the peppercorn, but not the edge. Again, not getting any of the advertised orange, but more a muted grassy fruit twinge, again likely the lemongrass taking the forefront. Don’t notice any pepper dash here, and only a vague bready note in the distance and a faint Belgian yeast at the finish, but that’s about it. Some might describe it as subtle, I am more inclined to be a little less forgiving and just say there’s not really that much going on. Surprisingly decent medium body, and a bit of a dry finish. I mean... it IS a beautiful sunny afternoon, which really seems to be the perfect venue for this beer. Though I feel like I should be in an airy white tent with cucumber sandwiches. Nope, just covered in insulation and watching the forest...

Hazy, yellow color; medium-sized, white head. The aroma of spices, wheat, citrus fruits, and a hint of yeast. Same notes in refreshing, semidry taste with slight , herbal bitterness .

Pours a gold color with a foamy white head that lasts quite a while. Slight aroma of lemon, orange and spices. Tastes of grains and spices. Crisp and dry.

From 12oz can into pilsner glass, fluffy white head, cloudy pale yellow, lots of rising CO2, sweet floral-peppery aroma, taste follows with pleasant lemony orange 'astringency,' saison-like. Pretty decent, one will do me for now but wouldn't turn down one on another occasion.

12 ounce can into a tulip glass. Best by 5/2024, had 5/6/24.
Pours a bright, pale yellow, a little cloudy, with a two inch head of spongy foam with good retention and a decent amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of wheat, orange, peppercorn, some coriander, light yeast. The flavors pretty much follow the nose: wheat, coriander, orange, peppercorn, light lemon, light yeast. Smooth, a thin feeling light body, well carbonated.
Very good aroma, but the flavor suffers from the slightly watery feel. Pretty good overall. Certainly competitive for the style.

Draft at LATEOTU. Hazy golden pour wih a white, creamy head. Aroma is bready with light spice. Coriander, savory notes, light malts. Velvety textures.

Appearance: Pours a clear, medium-yellow color with a strong white head. SRM of 6. (4.00)
Aroma: Moderate aromas of Belgian spice, floral spice, bread spice with some cloves. Clove spice to finish. (4.00)
Flavor: Moderate flavors of Belgian spice and wheat. Bread malt with some cloves and spice underneath. (4.00)
Feel: Slightly heavier-bodied and finish is smooth wheat malt. Lightly bitterness lingers. (4.00)
A 4 way head-to-head blind ranking 10/2022:
#1 Allagash White: More floral, coriander, and spice. Really enjoyed the floral spices from this one.
#2 St. Bernardus Wit: Bright lemon and lime citrus. Some juicyfruit. Delicate and clean.
#3 Dogfish Head Namaste: More clove spice, bread malt, and bitterness. Surprisingly well-done and balanced.
#4 Blanche De Chambly: Strong lemon citrus and wheat. Heavier. Still drinks nicely but more citrusy than I expected. These were all great so ultimately it comes down to preference.
Overall: A very nice Belgian wit here. Drinks nicely and well-rounded for a wit. In the blind test this one leaned slightly heavier on the bread malt and clove spice. Balanced and well-rounded. First time at this one, but this one drinks along with the big guys. (Rating: 4.00)

I like the can artwork, great use of color. The pour is copper colored with a small amount of sediment near the bottom of the shaker pint glass. On the taste, I'm definitely getting the orange and lemongrass. In addition to, I'm getting some of the coriander & peppercorns on the backend. This was quite a flavorful wheat beer. All in all, it was interesting to try a beer with lemongrass & peppercorns added to it. Who would have known that something I like to add to my salad would also go good when I add to my beer. Cheers! Poured a slightly hazy orangeish/copper color with a small white head.
Smell is that of oranges, coriander, and yeast.
Taste is just like the smell.
This beer is not the kind that I usually drink a lot of, but this one came in a mixed box from the local beer store. Overall, it's a decent beer and it's a good thirst quencher.
