Ümläüt Übërlöäd was created in celebration of the first annual Dogfish Head Harvest Festival. We brewed this Octoberfest beer with a blend of pils and imported Munich malts for a deep amber color and rich, toasty malt tones. It's an explosion of malty goodness in your mouth! Grab your lederhosen and get ready to Chicken Dance in the moshpit. O'zapft is!

On tap at Dogfish Head Taproom and Kitchen in Milton, DE.
This one pours a dark-ish amber color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like light sweetness with lots of breadiness, some floral hop character, and caramel.
This is a bit better than Amazon Lederhosenwas at the brewpub the night character, with a richer, more flavorful malt character overall. There’s just a hint of hop bitterness – it’s all really well balanced.
This is light bodied, super drinkable, and very clean.
This is a very respectable stab at one of my favorite styles.
