This white beer delivers gifts not unlike the man of the white beard. Like a shoe by the fireplace, this beer is packed with citrus and spice under a fluffy white head. Sinterklaas is brewed to 5% ABV with raw and malted wheat, malted barley, and oats and is seasoned with orange, coriander, lemongrass, and Indonesian long peppercorn. Enjoy it with our chicken and shrimp club or warm crab dip (or both) and its always best to share with friends old and new. The feast of Sinterklaas may have been over a month ago but its never too late for a surprise!

Pint served at the pub.
Minimal lacing due to the glass being filled to the top, good retention. Clouded straw color. Clean spicing and a hint of plum with a mild bready note in the nose. Refreshing crispness, snappy lighter body. Cracker maltiness meets a broad brush of spice, lemony in the middle with some chalky yeast in the dry finish.
Very easy drinking, spicing really works here. Great beer to pair with the boar spring rolls.

Well I'm not really sure of what to say about this beer. It's pretty much exactly as the beer menu described it... "Belgian Wit beer with organic orange, coriander, lemongrass, and Indonesian long peppercorn". The "organic" orange is nice, and the lemongrass and Indonesian long peppercorn make it 'uniquely Dogfish Head', but really it's not that unique compared to other examples of the style. The coriander is definitely the strongest note, which is quite common. What separates it is probably the delicate note of lemongrass, and that the pepper really comes through. Otherwise it's pretty much spot-on Belgian-style witbier. It's well-brewed and well-balanced. Worth trying to be sure.
