12 oz can poured into a Teku glass. Pours a not-quite-clear orange color with a rocky pale yellow head. Aroma and flavor have definite sage, which is cool. Bitter citrus/pine hops as well, with a caramel malt backbone. It's interesting but not something I'm likely to drink again after the 3 cans from the variety pack are gone.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing on the glass. It smelled strongly of sage with orange and pine. Strong herbal and sage taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

Bought in a 4-type 12-beer sampler. Cute name!
Pours an amber-gold color with a solid, persistent half-inch head. Nice aroma: I get lightly fruity, piney hops. I'm not familiar with this variety, but I don't get sage out of the aroma. Taste is excellent, good upfront bitterness, but not overwhelming, and a strong hoppy flavor. In contrast to the nose, they taste more tropical to me, with an edge flavor I don't quite recognize, but it lingers, and not exactly in a pleasant way (marking down the initial 4.5 I had, for the aftertaste). Good body, a bit strong for a session beer. Overall, pretty good. I haven't followed Dogfish Head in recent years. This is the first new one I've had in a decade.
