Purchased as part of a Spring themed mixed twelve pack. Semi respectable head and retention. Major coffee and chocolate malted roasted tones emanating from this one. Somewhere in between a porter, a schwarzbier., and a dark lager, this beer has found a place. Rich malt with moderate balance but mostly delivering the promised coffee palette. Smooth and even tempered, with relatively low carbonation. Very well made.

Poured into a wide mouth, grip shaped goblet: color is brown, head is off white with fine bubbles, head presents 1/4 inch thick, head then dissipates to nothing, no lacing, so spotting.
Smell is roast, toffee, medium roast coffee, earthy bite..
Taste is similar with a more forward coffee lean, more limited roast, moderate toffee, clean hops.
Mouthfeel is lighter carbonation, moderate sweetness, low/moderate carbonation.
Overall more of a coffee brew than Czech style lager

Good lager!! Poured from a 12 oz, can into a mug, this beer features a mahogany brown color with some reddish (in the body) and golden (at the bottom of the glass) light coming through. medium sized frothy beige head that shrinks down to small and then holds, and some patchy lacing. Aroma and taste are mostly roasted malt and coffee. There is just a touch of bitterness here. Mouthfeel is light and crisp with good malty and coffee flavored taste. I could drink a bunch of these.

Dark brown to matte black, probably clear under brighter light, with a moderately tall but light, puffy khaki head raising up above a glass Pizza Boy coffee mug.
Beautiful tobacco leaf roast is lightly earthy meeting a tangy espresso support.
A touch woody, but also perhaps hinting at lemon peel, it's light and frothy, not nearly as acidic or dry as an espresso beer could be, making it more drinkable.

12oz can with a best by date of June 2026, opened 3-28-26.
1 finge beige head with very good retention. Dark brown body. Spotty, wispy + rings of lacing.
Nose of brown bread, roasted nuts, grain, and a light aroma of coffee.
Coffee is more prominent in the flavor - dark roast. Roasty malt starts sweet but finishes drier.
Light body with medium level fine carbonation and a drying quality across the tongue. Roasty and off-dry finish.
Tasty brew. Very Good.

$14.99 6-pk @ Publix
AROMA: Mildly sweet, with scents of coffee and a hint of caramel, at the end. Oddly, I find the coffee scent to be more like used coffee grinds, rather than fresh beans.
APPEARANCE: Pours an opaque black with a 3-finger, tight-frothed, dirty-tan head that dissipates very slowly with excellent lacing. It looks very nice!
TASTE: At beginning of a sip, I get moderate sweetness with a fair amount of espresso that is followed by some light notes of cream and a touch of caramel. Sadly, other than a bit of coffee flavor, it doesn't really have much else to offer. And I find that the sweetness doesn't really mesh with the rest of the flavor profile.
MOUTHFEEL: Thin-bodied with a slightly coarse texture. Carbonation is below average. Finish is mildly dry.
OVERALL: Appearance is great. Aroma and Flavor are just okay. Mouthfeel is lacking. While I find the idea of the beer to be compelling, the actual execution leaves me flat. I'm glad I tried it, but I won't be buying again.

A brown liquid flowed from can to produce a pretty tall tan head atop a midway-between black and brown body. Nice remnants of the foam now, but it did fall decently quickly. The nose is slightly fruity with coffee playing at he edges - I am getting a bit more coffee and less fruit than my initial try of this. After taking a taste, I get a nuttiness on the nose to pair with what my tongue perceived. There is a nice mix of dark roast and what may be pine or grassy hops that are shrouded a bit in a veil of coffee. I am enjoying the coffee coming through a little more today without straying into overpowering the base beer.

Dark brown pour with amber highlights, foamy khaki head. Nose offers coffee and blackened grain
Taste is smooth espresso, coco, dark kilned malt, light woodiness, some floral. Light to medium mouthfeel. Finish is fairly dry, roasted malt. While the coffee is integral to the taste it is not overpowering .
