Had it @ the dogfish flagship store 3.4 etoh. Light sparkling wheat beer brewed w tart cherries & peaches & fermmented w DNA yeast & 2 german strains. Thhere no head. I dont see any bubbles & think its flat. It is tart. I won't order it again. An ipa cherry would have benn better.

Served into a pint glass at the DFH brewpub in Rehoboth.

A: Literally looks like hazy grapefruit juice without any head or lacing of any kind. Nothing to keep for retention, either. A slight orange tint throughout. A shame, it's really sort of ugly looking.

S: Wheat, spice, pale malt, Berliner Weisse style aroma, peach and slight touches of cherry. Fruity and wheaty with hints of funky tartness.

T: Plenty of peach up-front with a crisp refreshing tartness to the beer. Faint cherry and a solid wheat backbone come into play while the peach comes full circle into the finish. Nicely fruit and tart without going over.

M: Nicely carbonated and bubbly. Extremely crisp, light and highly refreshing. It works extremely well for the low ABV and flavor profile it was going for.

There needs to be more commercially available beers like this in the style: low ABV, slightly tart and refreshing. A killer summer beer I wish I could have more of.

Enjoyed at the DFH brewpub.

A: Lil' Tart was served in a pint glass and was pink in color, remind me of grapefruit juice with no head or lacing at all.

S: Definitely some wheat on the aroma. This is mixed with a bunch of cherry and to a lesser extent some peach. There is some faint hop aromas and a faint tartness, but the cherry and wheat dominate.

T: The reverse is true on the flavor profile, with the peach taking a more dominate role and cherry acting as a side flavor. The wheat adds some backbone to the fruit flavors.

M: Light to medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Extremely easy drinking.

O: Really liked this beer. It will definitely do well during the summer in Rehoboth, especially on hot days. Love that DFH made something on the low end of the abv spectrum.
