Review from notes. Had on tap in Rehoboth.
A: The beer was chocolate brown with a small khaki colored head on top which reduced to a thin cap on top, sporadic lacing all over the glass.
S: A very hoppy aroma, lots of citrus fruits - pineapple and grapefruit, very juicy with some grass as well. Not much of a dark malt presence though.
T: More juicy hops, some grapefruit, grass, and earthy hops with a little bit of coffee, bready malt, and a touch of chocolate.
M: Medium bodied with medium carbonation.
O: Liked this one, probably because it was on the hoppier side, and not as much a black ale.

Appearance is dark brown - almost black but held up to light you can see the true color. Good head and lacing but the carbonation is thicker - kind of like a soda. Fresh floral hop aroma. Taste could also put this in a black IPA category. Fruity sweetness with mango easily detectable. A hint of coffee. Good balance and fall flavor.
