This is a version of the flagship beer from El Tora of the same name but is brewed with a different hop profile. Simcoe was the varietal in this sample. deep amber color with slight off white head, nice lace. A frsh malty aroma is evident. Very clean taste with a sooth hoppiness that I find trouble describing exactly. A bit of citrus maybe but not piney, some orange maybe. Finish is crisp and clean and only a bit lingering. Very nice variation of a top amber.
