Sampled 11/14/2010 at the brewpub. This is not the same as their regular IPA, they were both on the menu. Not sure if it's a one-off or if this is rotating, so I entered it as rotating just in case.
Pours hazy yellow with some white head that sticks to the glass but falls to nothing quickly.
Aroma pine, wood, a little fruit, and a slight hint of butter.
Flavor is the standard piney IPA with medium/high bitterness, a little mango, malt, and a touch of butter. Pretty average for what an IPA should be, but could do without the butter.
Body is light and this is pretty drinkable. It seems like over the last year all their IPA's have become buttery, which is a shame as their Duece used to be a wonderful IPA.
