Amber colored and clear. Modest starting head that leaves a couple of wide streaks.
I smell semisweet caramel with a light perfume of flowers followed by an even lighter fresh cut weed aroma. Complex.
Full bodied but with enough carbonation to cut through. The beer starts like the smell with a semisweet caramel that quickly dries out and becomes bitter. The aftertaste is nearly astringently dry with a long lingering bitter hop-pellet flavor.
