Mystic Ways Brewing

I don't care for the hippie, Grateful Dead aesthetic, but in this place, it works. Relatively small area with bar and some table seating. Table games available if that's your thing. Draft selections are IPA heavy, but they had a side pour pilsner with different serving options, a schwarzbier which was delicious, and a kolsch among others. Place was clean, well maintained, TVs behind the bar, and a good Playlist too. Co-owner was bartending and she was awesome! Very knowledgeable about the beer, and enthusiastic about the business. The Hop Mates concept was cool: pick a hop variety, pick a beer, hops fill one third of the glass, beer poured over the hops, drink through a straining straw. Cool to see how fresh hops change the beer. Overall, I'd like to go back right now.

In downtown Perkasie, a narrow storefront building. Long skinny space with bar that runs along the left side, and some tables to the right. The place is decked out in pyschedelic and natural decor, there is a big mushroom mural on the wall, blacklights, backlight bar. Its funky. There are about 10 beers on tap, of which half are hazy IPAs, and some others are unique brews. Beers I drank were good. Bartenders were friendly.
