Time & Materials describes this as a 'Thiolized Cold IPA.' They say 'This style marries a corn-heavy malt bill with a lager yeast and NEIP style hopping technique. We took ours a bit farther with a thiolized yeast strain and New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc grape skins.
The beer poured very foamy and took some time to settle. Had a substantial mouth feel. The slight aroma was floral, fruity. The taste was interesting, citrusy sure, but there were more flavors that I cannot describe, some a bit funky. I will leave it to more sophisticated pallets to sort this one out. There was a bit of bitterness on the finish.
I cannot believe the ABV is really 9.2. If there is that much alcohol in there, it is very well hidden. I would quaff a few of these down no problem. Overall, I recommend if you want to try an IPA that is a little different.
