Time & Materials describes this as a 'Barrel Aged Maple Imperial Stout' in collaboration with 'Hopothecary Ales' of North Reading, MA.
From T & M's website... "we took our base imperial stout “Time Eradicator” and let it age for one year in a barrel that first held bourbon and then delicious Vermont maple syrup. The marriage of oak, bourbon, maple, and rich imperial stout create a beer that deserves to be sipped and savored during those long winter nights."
This beer is delicious. I would like to try this beer aged a little more to let the sweetness subside, but this is my only can. That ship has sailed.
The maple comes on a little strong, hints of chocolate, bourbon, wood, a very long lasting finish. T & M has done it again!
