I had top call this an IPL , since 'Cold IPA' does not seem to be a category.
I went into this with low expectations. This is not my style. Lager yeast in general just not seem to produce the complex flavors that I am interested in. So I was pleasantly surprised when my palate came alive with the first, and every sip of this fine beer.
Amazed to see the hazy amber color when I poured this in the glass. Not what I was expecting. The beer still achieved a dry, clean crisp background expected from a good Lager, but with plenty of hoppy flavor up front.
Some nice hoppy bitterness that lingers on the tongue. This beer has great body for the style. I am impressed.
