Desert Runner is a white IPA brewed in support of our friend Ryan Vanderweit.
Army Veteran and Woburn resident, Ryan is running in the Marathon Des Sables, a 150 miles race through the Sahara Desert to raise money for organizations that provide mental health and wellness services for veterans.
We built the beer around Warthog Wheat from Valley Malt and Yankee Pilsner from Blue Ox Malthouse, double dry hopped it with Vermont grown Chinook from Champlain Valley Hops and finished it with grapefruit peel.
