This beer was inspired by our love of the iced vanilla latte; one of our favorite caffeinated beverages. This beer features a complex grist of dark and roasted malts, milk sugar, espresso sourced from Brazil, Costa Rica, and Guatemala, and vanilla beans sourced from Papua New Guinea. Our ambition was to walk the line, balancing sweetness, and mouthfeel, while allowing the adjuncts to add to the experience rather than overpower it.

12 ounce can, canned 09/25/23, thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice and sweet, the brew smells like coffee, cream, vanilla, roasted malt and some chocolate. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some dark bread, burnt/charred malt, and dark chocolate flavors. It's definitely a sweeter tasting brew but not too sweet. Mouthfeel/body is full, it's slick and a bit syrupy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one, it's a good overall brew and worth trying especially if you like sweeter tasting imperial stouts!

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This massive imperial pours a tick coal black
with a fantastic had of brown foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and
displays some nice lacing and legs. Nose of dark coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, char,
and cream. Flavors hit their mark with dark bakers chocolate, dark cocoa, vanilla,
cream, char, roast, raisin, and dark bread. Mouth feel is full, smooth, rich, coating,
moderately chewy, light carbonation, slick, and finishing with a nice bitter malt note.
Overall, a VERY good imperial milk stout with all the right moves!
Cheers

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque in the glass with a thin khaki head that dissipates to scant patches with minimal lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, lactose, vanilla, cocoa and mild coffee. Flavor is dark toasted malt with light char, coffee, bakers chocolate, light vanilla and lactose. Roasty coffee and chocolate finish. Medium bodied with light to medium creaminess and sharp carbonation. A nice, well roasted and chocolatey stout with light lactose and mild vanilla. The feel is a little thin, but the flavor is assertive and well balanced. Has more of a standard stout flavor profile than a milk stout, although it has both milk sugar and vanilla of the latter style. Nevertheless, tastes great. A surprisingly still pour, but the carbonation is robust and just sharp enough for the style. Nicely done.

16 ounce can packaged 09/25/23.
Vigorous pour yields a 1/8 inch mocha head over a near black body with scant lacing.
Nose of dark malt, vanilla, and slight coffee and a bit of milk chocolate.
Taste of coffee, vanilla, and milk chocolate; finishing with slightly bitter coffee and bitter chocolate.
Feel is good with nearly medium carbonation.
Overall, pretty tasty and I would have another!
Cheers!!
