16 ounce can, dating on the bottom is smudged but I think it was canned in late 2023. My fault for not drinking it fresher since I've had it in the fridge for some time. Big thanks to Brutaltruth for this can! Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head that stayed around a while. Good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like dark chocolate, roasted malt, dark bread, oats and some coffee. Taste is similar to the aroma, with the addition of some burnt/charred malt and earthy flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit coating and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. Easy enough to drink. Would like to try this one again in the future!

Pours a dark ruby brown, cola-like 1" head with very little retention or lacing. Nose off the bat has lots of grassy hop character, cocoa powder, baking chocolate. Taste follows; bitter throughout with grassy hop up front, cocoa and chalky dark chocolate mid-palate, and unsweetened cola on the finish. Rather tannic, though a bit of stickiness as well. Feel is light for the style with small, sharp carbonation that only things it out more. Overall, I liked the bitter notes of this oatmeal stout, though would have wanted some more body.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This more than solid oatmeal stout pours
a rugged and dark blackish brown with a moderate head of khaki foam that
fades to a thin ring. Nose of dark chocolate, oats, moderate char and roast,
subtle cream, and coffee hints. Flavors pack it in with dark chocolate, mellow
coffee, char, cream, roast, and oats. Mouth feel is medium full, smooth, rich,
moderately coating, light carbonation, and a roasted finish that is lightly dry.
Overall, a solid no frills oatmeal!
Cheers
