A few weeks ago, when Joy #5 came out, we were elated with the overall performance and execution of this beer. It checked all the boxes we hoped it would. As a result, we decided Joy #5 would be the first recipe from the “Joy” series to “graduate” and be re-brewed and given its own unique and worthy name.
Without further ado, we present you with Hoot! brewed and dry hopped with a healthy dose of Citra hops from the Yakima Valley and Riwaka hops from the lush growing regions of New Zealand. Bright, pithy, citrusy notes, featured alongside aromatics of ripe melon and passionfruit.

A: slight haze; medium gold in color; 1 finger finely pored white head that receded to a splotchy cap; nice lacing;
S: bright; mango, orange zest, and pineapple;
T: mango, orange, and pineapple from start to finish; mildly sweet; very mild bitterness;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish; no hop burn;
O: getting some of the orange zest from the aroma into the flavor could have helped balance out the sweetness;

Surprisingly good for modest reviews, not the juiciest but this one has a consistent good taste and NEIPA profile. And not overdone so I could see downing a few of these.
