Arcana is a single decoction Czech-style dark lager brewed in collaboration with our dear friend Vasili from Wunderkammerbier in Elmore, Vermont. To our knowledge, this was the first ever decoction lager brewed on the Twelve Percent system!
It features a blend of Bohemian floor-malted barley, a blend of our favorite European malts, Czech Saaz hops, yeast, soft water, and time. The result is a delightful sensory experience with a gentle balance of sturdy maltiness and the zip of Saaz hops.

Appearance resembled tea with a thing off white head
Medium carbonation with about a medium body
Aroma is toasted almost burnt grain, cereal and malt. Dark bread with toasted sesame
And whole grain cracker
Taste is dry bitterness, toasted grain and cereal. Dark bread, malt, buckwheat.
Overall an excellent beer ,more dry and bitter than expected but unique and flavorful.
