Clear but very dark brown brew with abundant beige foam in the goblet. Creamy and mouth-filling. It's almost a nitro feel. Dark flavors of roasted malt but not charred. Winey and cocoa tasting with hints of apple but not fruity otherwise. This is really quite delicious. Less sweet and more interesting than the ubiquitous imperial stouts, I think. Some sweetness, and quite malty, but offset with a distinct bitter edge, like bitter chocolate. From the 16 oz van purchased at Town & County market in Shoreline. Dated 08/05/24.
