Tasted as part of a distributors sample keg at Mr. Dunderbaks in Tampa. Thanks to Microman Distributors for providing it for the Tampa Bay BEERS homebrew club meeting.
This beer has a big, sulphery, hoppy nose. Flavor is dominated by a quenching dryness. Body is somewhat light, but flavor is smooth and clean and accentuated by medium-high bitterness and some mineral-like notes. This keg appears nice and fresh, which is essential for this style. Makes a great summertime beer for the hot Florida weather. A nice example of a pilsner from an unusual source - a brewer of classic belgian ales.

Sampled on tap at Beer Circus in Croydon.
This pils poured a clear, golden color with white foam that settled but coated the glass a bit. There was a good, steady carbonation from the bottom of the glass. The smell was minimally malty. The taste was sharp and hoppy upfront with a good malt backbone. The malt had a touch of sweetness and a bit of breadiness. There were some floral hop notes in the finish. The mouthfeel was sharp and crisp and hoppy with medium body and medium carbonation. This was a good pilsner (from Belgium?!).
