Interesting one! Huge head foam at pour, stayed for a while. Bright amber color. Taste has two personalities. The bitterness comes out first then followed by some fruity flavor. Not quite sure what but something citrus. The transition from one to the other is kind of drastic. Meaning there two personalities don't seem to blend. Regardless this was enjoyable, just feels like some tuning to be done here.

Billed as a German Double IPA. Looks pretty nice with great creamy head retention and a chill-hazed amber liquid Tastes like a weizenbock, with cardboard in the finish. Smell is same, not really an IPA in any sense of the word. The cardboard dissipates as the pint progresses, and a bitter finish begins to shine. Still I think this would be better either going all the way towards weizenbock or all the way towards DIPA.
