Tasted as part of a sampler flight at the brewery taproom in Pensacola, FL.
L - Deep, dark brown color, with a lasting, creamy, dark tan head. Great appearance.
S - Not much aroma, just some vague, dark malts on the nose.
T - Flavors of slightly sweet dark malt; roasted grain character is low or a stout. Herbal hops in the background.
F - Light body and moderate carbonation. Moderate bitterness and low alcohol presence.
O - This is a tasty, easy-drinking beer, but it is lacking in the roasted malt backbone expected for the style.
