Another selection from the Bistro dipa fest 2023 edition. Another brewery I hadn't heard of at the time. And now, almost 9 months later, I'm the one writing the very first review for this Next Glass database. I wonder if they ever wonder. . .why?
Pours golden with a light darker golden lean, 1/2" white head. The aroma had a familiar mixture of citrus rind and pine, thinking maybe some Amarillo and Centennial going on here.
The taste has not much beyond the usual trappings/awesomeness of the classic C hops. But who knows, maybe you can drop some Idaho 7 and get a similar feel. But this one did lean very unbalanced in terms of its mouth feel, wasn't to where it made a bad beer, but the relative amount of flavor hops to bittering hops seemed out of whack. When you gonna ring it?
Looks like this place has standard $8/9 pints in a quetionable locale. Don't think I'll be visiting, but I'll check out their stuff that makes it across the bay.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
