Pours a finger of white head into my snifter. Retention is average. Lacing is solid. Body is a dark murky yellow, nearly brown. Looks nice.
Nose has rich notes of clove and faint orange. Smells fantastic at first but it does open up into some mustier notes.
Flavor lands with a decent amount of clove that lasts throughout the palate. Some malt in the finish, and a whisper of pepper. Tastes great.
Carbonation is somewhat modest. Bitterness is noticeable but tasteful. Touch of spice. Medium bodied, but it drinks pretty crisp and well-attenuated, with a slightly dry finish. Overall a nice mouthfeel with quite a bit going on.
Drinkability is great.
Overall a tasty beer with a lively feel.

Taster at Funky Fauna. Pale golden with small bubbly white head. Yeasty aroma with a floral hoppiness. Taste is bready, yeasty, grassy and light floral accents nice!
