16oz can, canned about a month ago
Pours a finger of white head into my Willi. Retention is subpar. Lacing is basically nonexistent. Body is straw yellow, crystal clear, with a modest nucleation. Looks relatively poor.
Nose has a bready foundation, with some lighter notes of white cracker. Smells good for only 4%
Flavor is bready, slightly grainy, maybe even a bit nutty. Has depth for such a light beer, but it’s a little odd.
Light bodied. Carbonation is relatively high. Considerable bitterness. Well attenuated. Nice mouthfeel.
Drinkability is good.
The flavor throws me at times, but overall it’s a nice, bitter lager.
