Draft at the Handlebar. Medium golden body with a small white head. Aroma is light caramel with a touch of orange. Caramel disappears in the taste, light bitterness. Promising aroma leads to a kind of bland taste.

awesome to have another new brewery up and running in the area. this is their first brew, a pretty basic pale, but its a nice little introduction, nothing special, but arguably ahead of the curve in some respects, better than amateur, and seemingly selling pretty well around town, i have seen it in at least a few spots already. honey colored, a little unfiltered looking but not trying to be an east coast type, average white head on top settling decently quickly. aroma here is northwestern hops, a little spiciness there, sweet and bitter orange both, and a decent bit of character from the malt base too, honey, a toasted richness, and overall great balance, but not heavy, seems minimal on the ferment too. the taste is more hop driven than the aroma, the malt fades back a little, definite citrus, some light woodsy character, spruce or something, and only middle of the road bitterness, some light oily dankness, but still squarely withing the pale realm, not pushing ipa at all. medium bodied, off dry, and overall quite a lot less amateurish than anticipated, although still just a basic pale ale. ive heard some people really like this and others really dislike it, doesnt seem all that polarizing to me, its just a beer, just a pale ale. glad to have these guys in the game and this is a fine start...
