Desert Equinox is a west coast style IPA brewed with local rye malt for a bigger body and a subtle rye spice character. We always enjoy trying new hop products and this time we used @freestylehops Nelson SubZero Hop Kief™ with Mosaic and Centennial for sensory notes of pine, lemon, mango, subtle pineapple & herbal.

16oz can. No dating information found. Message on label reads, "KEEP COLD, DRINK FRESH AND PLEASE RECYCLE".
Pale gold colored body is partly cloudy in view. Two fingers of white head sticks around as a fluffy cap. Leaves behind extensive lacing rings.
Aroma of mango, pineapple, lemon, and pine.
Taste is bright with flavors of mango, lemon, and pine. Grapefruit pith comes in late, and stays on in the aftertaste. Has a real rye influence that shows as increased body thickness and an herbal/spicy flavor.
More than medium mouth feel. Bitterness is low but also not overly sweet. Excellent carbonation.
The bite of the rye helps to get this into the style of a West Coast IPA. Lack of clarity does not.
