Hazy IPA

Picture this, your feet are sore in your classic Van’s high tops, your voice is hoarse from belting all the words to your favorite songs and your pockets are filled to the brim with free stickers, but you’re having the time of your life. Continuing hop punk month we are stoked about this year’s batch. Hopped with Idaho 7 702, Citra, HBC 586 and El Dorado Cryo this beer is packed with notes of honeydew melon, peach rings and pineapple.

Hazy, golden color. Big, white head. Citrus, peach, and some resin in the aroma. Hoppy, rather bitter than sweet. A very decent, non-pretentious NE IPA.

Canned on 7/28/2024. Poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. It pours a hazy, murky, bright tangerine color with an huge, fluffy, milk-white head and thick, soapy lacing. A big, fruity nose featuring lemon, grapefruit, subtle berry, and soft floral hops. Its taste opens fairly tart with lemon peel, lime, and grapefruit rind. While it's by no means sweet there are some tropical notes of orange, apricot, and a hint of red berry. The El Dorado hops add soft and balanced bitterness throughout. The mouth feel is plush and creamy with pleasant carbonation, and the 6.8% ABV allows for easy drinkability. Overall, Summer at the Warped Tour is a superb New England IPA brewed in the far west. It is well worth seeking out.
