$13.50 AUD at OutSauce Cairns. 7.8%.
The dragonfruit pairs beautifully with the smoked malt, and the salt enhances the flavour. Plum takes a backseat to the dragonfruit - as it should - never overwhelming with too much sweetness but helping keep this experimental brew in balance. Faint hickory wood and beet add still more complexity, but I don't taste the eponymous bacon salt.
Not so much a gose inasmuch as it is just a salted beer that happens to be a smoked beer. Sourness isn't quite adequate enough to warrant calling it a gose or Berliner weisse, but it's there a bit.
In any case, this is a successful experiment of a brew, albeit one I couldn't justify forking over $15 AUD per can for again, and I do find the fruity sweetness manifests more as it warms, rendering it less drinkable when coupled with its noticeable alcohol warmth.
